Krause Design was established in 2005 by Emily Krause. Emily has a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Roanoke College. Emily continued her education in graphic arts and web design through certification programs in web design and graphic design software. In 2005 Emily became a Certified Direct Marketer through the International Marketing Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University.

A marketing director by trade, Emily started Krause Design to fill a void in Richmond and the surrounding areas for affordable web design for local businesses. In addition to providing web design solutions, Krause Design prides itself on informing clients about the market place both physically and online and offers marketing consultation to help clients maximize their exposure while still staying within a reasonable budget.
